Steelhead and Migratory Brown Trout in the Tributaries of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. Season begins, depending upon weather, roughly in September and ends in late April. Rivers include Oak Orchard Creek, 18 Mile Ontario (Burt Dam), 18 Mile Erie, Cattaraugus Creek, Chautauqua Creek, and several secret spots in-between these major systems. Fish average 5-6 pounds and up, but often reach 10-15lb and once in awhile break the 20-25lb mark.
Expert Based Fly Fishing for Trout in the streams surrounding WNY. Season is open all year round, but excels from April to September. Classic Spring Creek and Small to Medium Sized Freestone Streams utilizing Advanced Classic & Progressive Techniques. In 8 hours you will not only have a great time, but learn and refine techniques that will catapult your fish catching abilities!
