I was looking for some wide gap hooks suitable to build French ceramic nymphs. I was intrigued by the unusual curve of these hooks and decided to give them a try. I ordered size 14, 16 and 12. I think they are on the smaller size so a 12 is more like a 14. Anyway, these are amazing quality hook. Wide gap as I needed and very strong. The price is great at $10 for 50. Will definitely buy more in the future.

These hooks are very much true to size. I am used to comp style hooks being on the larger size due to the wider hook gaps. These are definitely true to size or maybe on the smaller size. Great hooks, very strong, very sharp. Don’t be afraid to get a few sizes and experiment. For the price you can’t beat them so it is makes sense to buy a few sizes. All in all great hooks and a great price.

These are great hooks with an awesome profile. I am switching all my caddis nymphs and egg flies over to these hooks. The upturn cat point holds fish like it was barbed yet is still barbless. These are the best hooks of their kind on the market.
